Where's that low, bass sound? Personally, I feel that too many bands are excluding bass from the ensemble by completely overdubbing it with guitar. I mean, even if you want to have the guitars balanced over the bass some, at least give the bassist some time to shine. Cut the guitars, and let him/her throw a great bass line in. I don't know, I mean, it's another reason I've turned almost completely to Death Metal, which still incorporates bass ...
